Rather than argue with the wall on the internet, former Houston Texans star J.J. Watt laughed off criticism from former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall.

It was Mendenhall who posted on X on Monday, saying he was tired of “average white guys commenting on football” and suggesting that the Pro Bowl be divided into divisions for Black and White NFL players.

At first, Watt made a joke about the White team having a “cooked corner” as nobody could stop Tyreek Hill.

Watt was accused by someone on X of “ignoring the blatant racism,” to which the legendary NFL player responded on Tuesday.

“Hey buddy, pay attention… We don’t have to take offense at everything that happens in the world. He argued that football is unfit for white males. It occurred to me, “I’m a white guy.” I’m really skilled at football,’ he said, dismissing the truth in his assertion.

“I had some fun instead of arguing. Finish.”

Mendenhall received a lot of negative feedback on his post.

“I’m tired of hearing comments on football from regular white males. You guys barely play football at all. Would you kindly have an All-Black vs. All-White bowl instead of the Pro Bowl so these cats can quit trying to show me who the best football player is? “I surpass your goat,” he wrote.

He attempted to act as the victim hours later.

“I’m really sick of hearing people who aren’t gamers criticize me. Just act like I’m the only athlete that is sick of hearing negative remarks from fans. You become agitated with one tweet. How about us? Like me or not, my football skills are AMAZING. You cannot talk on the ball by yourself, as this illustrates.”
