When it comes to celebrating his accomplishments on the field, Patrick Mahomes has been cautious to get ahead of himself. However, following Sunday’s 25-22 overtime victory against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Lda, he finally came clean.as Vega Nevas,

Tracy Wolfson of CBS spoke with Mahomes just after his Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl. After the Chiefs won their third Super Bowl since 2019, Wolfson questioned Mahomes on the possibility of a Chiefs dynasty.
Yes, it’s the beginning of one, Mahomes said. “Our work is not finished. I’m certain that tonight will be a celebration. Enjoy the parade in Kansas City on Wednesday. However, we’re not done yet. With our youthful crew, we will persevere with this.

Although Mahomes prefers to maintain a low profile when discussing his and his team’s successes, it’s difficult to deny that the Chiefs are now building a dynasty.

In each of the six seasons since Mahomes took over as Kansas City’s starting quarterback in 2018, the team has advanced at least to the conference title game. In that time, they have made it to the Super Bowl four times and have won three of them.

The Chiefs are unquestionably a dynasty and the most dominant team throughout this time.

However, as Mahomes notes, they’re not finished. Mahomes is constantly focused on creating and achieving more. Furthermore, Mahomes is still far from matching Tom Brady’s record of seven Super Bowl rings, for those who choose to draw that comparison. There is still more for him to do.
