WIBW – LAS VEGAS, NV Although this is Raiders territory, Chiefs supporters without game tickets on Sunday can find a safe haven at Jackpot Bar and Grill.

It will be incredible. It’s going to be a blast. And for us, being in Vegas is kind of a dream come true,” said Joshua “Squishy” Cowart, the creator of the “Las Vegas Kingdom” Chiefs fan club.

“My employees adore Chiefs supporters. They look after them, are courteous, simply walk in, enjoy themselves, eat, drink, and leave a tip. Owner Jeff Frederick stated, “My staff is incredibly happy with them.”

Frederick opened the bar with Chiefs Kingdom in mind, having spent a decade and a half living in Kansas City.

“When I moved out here, we opened the bar, and I reached out to Josh (Cowart) here a few years ago about it being a Chiefs bar,” Frederick said. “At first they were at Blue Diamond Saloon, but then last year I reached out again, and they had enough overflow over there that we started coming over here, and we built it up since then.”

Since joining forces with the neighborhood Chiefs fan club, they have thrown watch parties, decorated the halls with Chiefs paraphernalia, and made new members feel welcome.

Regarding the fans, Frederick remarked, “They bring the tradition from Kansas City.” “Approximately 60%, 70%, 2/3, or 3/4 of the folks here are from out of town most of the time on the weekends. They thus arrive by plane, search for a location to watch the game, and discover us.

The resident of Las Vegas, Cowart, remarked, “Having the Raiders show up here wasn’t the most pleasant thing for me personally.” However, we’re adjusting to it. The Kingdom is expanding. Every week, there are more people visiting the pubs and relocating into the area.
Jackpot is also planning a large large Game party.

This weekend, there will be an unlimited food and drink buffet upstairs. I’m all out. About two days following the AFC Championship, I sold out,” Frederick remarked. “On Sunday, it’s first come, first served, and downstairs I can accommodate about another 100 people.”
