Tee Higgins, a wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and a graduate of Oak Ridge High School, stated that he would be willing to play for the Tennessee Titans. Reuniting with his former offensive coordinator, Brian Callahan, who is currently the Titans’ coach, would be “ideal,” according to Higgins.

Nashville, Tennessee Some things don’t stay in Las Vegas, like wide receiver Tee Higgins, a free agent signed by the Bengals, wanting to play for the Tennessee Titans again and reunite with his old offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.

Higgins said, “It would be good,” on Thursday while speaking to The Sick Podcast on radio row during the Super Bowl. “Seeing my family again and then having the opportunity to play for a coach I’ve already worked with.” That would be perfect.

Despite struggling with ailments, Higgins managed 42 receptions, 656 yards, and five scores in 12 games this season. The prior two seasons, he had consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons. On their top-50 list, ESPN ranks Higgins as the best available wide receiver and the seventh free agent.

Higgins spoke warmly of Callahan in a subsequent radio interview with TennesseeEtitans.com.

“Callahan really helped me out,” Higgins remarked. From my first year as a footballer, he has assisted me in improving. He’s a fantastic coach, one of the greatest in the league, I promise. He’s got a very offensive mindset. I was able to pick his brain a little bit and discover new, unknowledgeable information about the game. He simply has a fantastic offensive mind.”

It’s important to keep in mind that Higgins might still be subject to the franchise tag by the Bengals, which could put Titans supporters’ enthusiasm to rest. No other team will be able to bargain with Higgins if the Bengals choose to go for the exclusive tag. In that scenario, a trade agreement would be the only means of obtaining Higgins.

NEW QUARTERBACK COACH HIRE BY TITANS: Bo Hardegree, a Jackson native who previously served as UT’s backup quarterback and most recently as the Las Vegas Raiders’ temporary offensive coordinator, is anticipated to take a position as the quarterbacks coach for the Tennessee Titans.
