David Njoku is one of several Cleveland Browns players who will be in Orlando this weekend for the NFL Pro Bowl. He competes in events such as the “best catch” challenge against Puka Nakua, as well as Madden 24 games in which he faces Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys.

Host Charissa Thompson was asking the two players for input after a tough first half of the game. Parsons attempted to respond with a joke, claiming that Njoku demonstrated “Cleveland is Cleveland.” As expected, Njoku reacted angrily.

The famous tight end informed Parsons that his effort at a dig made no sense. He stated that it does not matter where they play. He then said, “Dallas is Dallas,” which makes no sense. This was exactly the point Njoku was attempting to make.

Each of the players at the event is one of the best at their position. Dallas and Cleveland were not too different this year. Sure, the Cowboys won their division with a 12-5 record, but they only had one more win than the Browns for the season. They were also both defeated in the first round of the playoffs.

The difference was that Cleveland was playing on the road against a division winner. As the No. 2 seed, Dallas faced a 9-8 Wild Card team at home. They were also 8-0 at home before Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers took them down.

Micah Parsons and David Njoku will meet on the field when the Browns visit the Cowboys in 2024.

The Browns have received more than their fair share of jokes as a result of years of misery, but the arrow is pointing up. They will get the opportunity to demonstrate this to Parsons and the rest of the Cowboys when they host them in 2024. The brief drama between the two may not make much news this weekend, but it will be brought up again when they meet on the field.

The last time these two teams met, the Browns proved to the Cowboys that they were no longer a joke. Parsons may not have been present at the time, but Cleveland won 49-38 on October 4, 2020.
