Ravens fans furious referees didn’t throw flag on Lamar Jackson interception

For Ravens supporters, Sunday was a difficult day as their hopes of making it to the Super Bowl for the first time in almost ten years were dashed With less than seven minutes remaining and Baltimore behind 17–7, it was made even more difficult by what some believed to be a missed pass interference call.

Lamar Jackson attempted to score a touchdown for tight end Isaiah Likely with a pass into the end zone, but the throw ended up in the arms of Chiefs defensive back Deon Bush.

However, supporters became enraged when it seemed defensive back Chamarri Conner had meddled. Conner’s touch with Likely prior to the ball reaching him is evident in the footage, which causes the Ravens to miss.

After the play, Jackson was clearly upset and when he returned to the Ravens’ bench, he slapped his helmet on the ground. The fact that Baltomore’s quarterback was throwing the ball into triple coverage made the pass risky in the first place, and Likely’s shove to the back didn’t help either. In the second half of Sunday’s AFC Championship game, Chiefs safety Deon Bush (26) intercepts a pass intended for Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (80) in the end zone.In the second half of Sunday’s AFC Championship game, Chiefs safety Deon Bush (26) intercepts a pass intended for Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (80) in the end zone.

Regarding the pick, Jackson remarked, “I saw both of them trailing [Likely], and I didn’t want to throw it out the end zone.” “I simply attempted to allow him to pivot and execute a move. I had anticipated a PI, but alas, that is not the case. That safety play was excellent. It was he who made the intercept.
