Fans React To Rapper’s Viral Appearance
The image of Eminem’s gesture toward 49ers fans sparked a strong reaction on social media, with many fans expressing their gratitude for his enthusiastic support of the team.

“Slim Shady has been waiting all his life for this moment,” one user wrote on X.

Others compared his participation at the game to music star Taylor Swift, who received a lot of attention during the Kansas City Chiefs’ season as she attended games to support boyfriend Travis Kelce.

“Eminem vs Taylor Swift at the Superbowl,” a fan posted on X.

According to Shanna McCarriston of CBS Sports, a Super Bowl showdown between the Chiefs and Lions would be shockingly star-studded.

“A Lions-Chiefs Super Bowl would not only give us a good game, but it would bring along some fun celebrities as well,” he added. “The Chiefs also have actors Paul Rudd, Eric Stonestreet, and Jason Sudeikis rooting for them to make it to their second consecutive Super Bowl appearance. Actors Taylor Lautner, Tim Robinson, and singer Bob Seger all support Detroit.

Eminem Loses Himself in the NFC Championship Game
The rapper has been a vocal supporter of the Lions during their historic season, which saw them win their first division title in 30 years and go to the NFC Championship game for the second time in history.

The rapper was on the sidelines with Hall of Famers Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson for the team’s first playoff game in 30 years.

“The energy in the building was amazing,” Johnson told The Associated Press. “You could feel it.” I wish we could have had that type of experience.

Eminem even begged coach Dan Campbell to let him suit up.

“I’m going to be there that night,” Eminem posted on Instagram. “I will suit up, and I will score us the winning touchdown in the third quarter.”

According to the Detroit News, the rapper even capitalized on the Lions mania this year with his local company.

“Meanwhile back in Detroit, Eminem is getting his Mom’s Spagehtti restaurant in on the Lions playoff frenzy, and on Sunday announced the release of a limited edition Mom’s Spaghetti hoodie with accents of Lions’ Honolulu blue,” according to the story.

Eminem has long been known to support his hometown team, the Lions. According to the Detroit News, he attended the Lions’ training camp in 2022 and drew the attention of Goff, who admitted to being starstruck when he saw the rapper.

“He might be on my list of like, ‘holy sh-,'” When the rapper approached the sideline, Goff could be heard saying something.

Goff also paid tribute to Eminem before Sunday’s game, arriving at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara wearing a shirt featuring the rapper’s name.
