Jamarrion Gordon is expected to travel to Tennessee.

During the open period, Tennessee’s coaching staff will host a number of guests throughout the course of the following three weeks. They had several well-known 2025 visitors last weekend, including Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre, who committed to the Vols a few days later. This coming weekend, they’ll have a host of other exceptional athletes, like Jackson High School’s Jamarrion Gordon.

Gordon is a 2026 defender who was born in Alabama. He is a high school teammate of 2026 South Carolina QB prospect Landon Duckworth. Duckworth paid an unannounced visit to Tennessee last summer. He has made three trips: one to Auburn, two to Alabama, and one to Knoxville, Tennessee. Gordon has two TFLs, a sack, two interceptions, and 72 tackles in his two seasons of high school football play. Before he joins the upperclass, Gordon is getting closer to Tennessee by the day. Willie Martinez, the defensive backs coach, appears to be courting him to play defensive back for the Vols after their encounter.

Tennessee has been aggressively pursuing athletes from Alabama in recent seasons, and they may make a run at Gordon in 2026.
