There will be many changes to the Eagles’ offense in 2024. According to Josh Norris, Philadelphia had the NFL’s lowest motion rate last season (32%). In comparison, the Chargers had the sixth-highest motion rate (68 percent), and Moore employed pre-snap motion on 54.6 percent of Cowboys ‘ plays in 2022.
Moore is also likely to produce what quarterback Jalen Hurts has been looking for from this offense. Hurts ranked 19th among qualified quarterbacks in intermedia throws in 2023, attempting 17.6 percent of passes 10-19 yards beyond the line of scrimmage. With Moore, the Eagles’ offense is likely to use more of the short and intermediate parts of the field.
