The Florida Gators have been busy so far in January, with a Junior Day held every weekend. Several important prospects from various classes have traveled to Gainesville to take in the sights and spend time with the coaching staff. This weekend will see another influx of visitors to The Swamp. Swamp247 looks at some of the names that are expected to appear.
Florid kicked off a busy weekend on Friday, with a few notable guests in town. Matt Zollers, a four-star quarterback from Royersford (PA) Spring-Ford, will make his first visit to the Gators after receiving an offer last week. He is scheduled to arrive in Tampa on Thursday and visit USF before traveling to Gainesville on Friday. He’ll also be visiting Georgia on Saturday, another team that recently offered him. The Gators extended an offer this past September, and will be getting him on campus for the first time. Some other names expected in, that do not currently have an offer from the Gators include three-star wide receiver Braswell Thomas, three-star athlete Pedro Reyes, and 2026 running back Julian Peterson.
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy is another important area in-state for any school around the county. Florida’s focus there is no different. Several names from there also were in town on Friday.
