Slugging first baseman Rhys Hoskins was the longest-tenured Philadelphia Phillies position player before leaving on Tuesday in free agency, reportedly agreeing to a two-year/$38 million contract with an opt-out after the first season.

As the 2024 season approaches, here’s an updated look at the Phillies’ five longest-tenured pitchers and position players. (Note: While Scott Kingery is still with the Phillies, he is not on the 40-man roster and did not play in the Major Leagues in 2023, so he was not considered for this list.)

Domínguez’s Tommy John surgery caused him to miss the entire 2020 season, as well as significant portions of 2019 and 2021. On May 7, 2018, he made his Major League debut for the Phillies against the San Francisco Giants at Citizens Bank Park, pitching a hitless inning of relief in an 11-0 victory. Domínguez has recovered well from Tommy John surgery, appearing in 111 games for the Phillies over the last two regular seasons. Domínguez’s contract expires in 2024, but the Phillies offer him a $8 million club option for 2025.
