Never change, George Kittle.

The 49ers tight end is known for his colorful nature and enthusiasm for life, and he has never held back his opinions.

So, when Kittle had the opportunity to remind the Green Bay Packers and their fans of the 49ers’ 24-21 divisional-round playoff victory against them, he seized it Tuesday on “The Pat McAfee Show” with an NSFW spin on the Cheeseheads’ favorite phrase.

“Go Pack, go the f–k home,” Kittle told show producer Ty Schmit, an avid Packers supporter, after McAfee told him he could cuss because the show — which streams on YouTube and airs on ESPN—is delayed on television.

And when Schmit told Kittle that the Packers should have beaten the 49ers, Kittle responded perfectly.

“I guess we’ll never know,” Kittle replied.

San Francisco has now won five consecutive NFL playoff games versus Green Bay, in what has become a popular postseason rivalry for both NFC teams. Perhaps not so much pleasure for both.

In Saturday’s comeback victory at Levi’s Stadium, Kittle had four receptions for 81 yards and a touchdown. However, he and the rest of the 49ers face another test this weekend, as they prepare to visit the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday.

With a trip to the Super Bowl and the franchise’s sixth Vince Lombardi Trophy on the line, San Francisco is hoping to send Detroit home as well.

49ers hope to pass the NFC title game obstacle after losing the previous two years.

Santa Clara, California — The most demanding aspect of reaching the brink of the Super Bowl only to fall short may be the long trip back to that platform for another chance.

Offseason workouts are followed by training camp, a 17-game season, and the first rounds of the playoffs.

After losing miserably the previous two seasons, the San Francisco 49ers persevered and earned another chance at the NFC championship game.

“When you lose the NFC title, you want to click your fingers and be back there. But you can’t,” said All-Pro fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who defeated Green Bay 24-21 on Saturday night to return to this level.

“There’s a lot that needs to happen between the last loss and getting back there. And to be back there again is not something you take for granted. You understand how difficult it is, and how much it matters to the men here who have been through it. I get emotional just thinking about it. We’re back, and it’s time to get down to business. “It is time.”

The 49ers (13-5) will have that opportunity on Sunday when they play the Detroit Lions (14-5) for a spot in the Super Bowl.

San Francisco has lost at this stage of the playoffs the previous two seasons, blowing a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter on the road against the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 and then losing again last year in Philadelphia, when the Niners were forced to play much of the game without a functioning quarterback.
