The Tennessee Titans conducted a virtual interview with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn for the open head coaching position, the organization announced on social media. This implies the Titans are about halfway through their simulated procedure. Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn, the Detroit Lions’ coordinators, are among those who have yet to be interviewed.
Quinn had done an excellent job as Dallas’ defensive coordinator until the team’s playoff elimination against the Green Bay Packers. The Cowboys were defeated 48–32. Quinn’s defense allowed Matt LaFleur’s offense to score 48 points and generate 415 yards of offense. Quarterback Jordan Love completed 16 of 21 ball attempts for 272 yards and three touchdowns. The Packers converted 60% of their third-down efforts (6 of 10) and scored many explosive touchdowns.
Quinn remains a popular candidate, despite Dallas’ catastrophic playoff elimination. He has now completed two of the five interview requests. Other probable candidates include the Carolina Panthers and the Seattle Seahawks, where Quinn won a Super Bowl as Pete Carroll’s defensive coordinator.
The Cowboys’ defense ranked fifth in total yards allowed per game (299.7), fifth in pass defense (187.4), and fifth in points allowed (18.5) during the regular season.

Titans: Derrick Henry reveals NFL Draft proclamation that will break Dolphins fans hearts
During an appearance on Bussin’ With the Boys, upcoming free agency running back Derrick Henry revealed where he intended to go in the NFL before being drafted by the Tennessee Titans, and it will make Dolphins fans understand they passed up a great opportunity.
“I wanted to go to Miami,” Derrick Henry explained on Bussin’ With The Boys. “I wanted to play for the Dolphins.” That is where I wanted to go. That’s where I believed I was headed. I pondered about going to the Panthers. I believed there was a slim chance I’d join the Cowboys, but I assumed they’d sign Zeke when they did.
Henry was selected in the second round by the Titans with the 45th overall pick. The Dolphins selected CB Xavien Howard with the 38th pick, so it wasn’t too bad, even though Miami could have landed a superstar running back.
As shown in the video, Henry also named the Carolina Panthers and the Dallas Cowboys as potential landing spots. The Panthers held the 30th pick at the conclusion of the first round after winning the Super Bowl the previous season, and they chose defensive tackle Vernon Butler. As Henry said, the Cowboys selected Ezekiel Elliott with the fourth pick in the draft and Jaylon Smith with the 34th choice.
Henry has enjoyed a tremendous career with the Titans, but there is still question this offseason about where he will play in 2024.
