Another tight end has been added by Tennessee via the transfer portal. Miles Kitselman, a former Alabama tight end, committed to the Volunteers late on Friday night. The team still needs more depth at the position.

Kitselman is a JUCO product with one season of eligibility remaining. He appeared in 13 games for Alabama last season, playing mainly on special teams. Kitselman joined the Crimson Tide ahead of the 2022 season. He signed with Alabama out of Hutchinson Community College.

Kitselman checks in at 6-5, 250 pounds. He joins former Notre Dame tight end Holden Staes in Tennessee’s transfer portal class, as Alec Abeln and Josh Heupel rework that room. Tennessee will be replacing seniors Jacob Warren and McCallan Castles next season. Former four-star prospect Ethan Davis is expected to step into a significant role alongside of Staes — but that’s about all Tennessee had. Kitselman brings a little insurance and experience to the equation.

In the class of 2024, Tennessee also signed Cole Harrison, a three-star recruit. He will work with Emmanuel Okoye, who played in the NFL Academy in Europe before arriving late to Tennessee’s 2023 class.

This offseason, Tennessee has added six players via the transfer portal, including Kitselman.
